fXO, fYahoo, fAOL, fStraight Path come to mind, throw in some 'retool/reorg for2H17' adjustments and particularly if net adds are lousy and consensus number is missed, personally I think it's likely. No BR "ears" out there with reports?

People, I'm just saying what my experience has been. My friends with AT&T and T-Mobile seem to have more problems with their service than I do. No, I'm not a leader. And when I said "at church" I didn't mean during church. Maybe others of you say differently, but this is my experience over the last period of time. To me, Verizon service is worth more. But how much more is the big question, and the answer is probably not much more unless you are out in the sticks or really need something Vz offers.

That is my experience. Disagree if you want, but it doesn't change what I am seeing around here among my non-Vz associates. Without fail when my friends are having problems with something that seems like shouldn't be a problem, it usually goes something like this:

Me - "I guess you don't have Verizon, huh?"

Them - "Nope"

You know i can easily name times i had better service than people with verizon phones so no there is no "superior" network. Take your stupid superior network crap out of here as I'm not idiot consumer who will buy into your horse crap. Its 2017 all the networks are pretty much on par and they all have their weak points, doesn't make one better than the other nor does it make one that's vastly more expensive as being worth its value.

People will pay any price to be on the best network in the world.

@1ypt - Wow are you VZ leadership? Because they keep beating that "better matters" crap like a dead horse. Better mattered about 5 years ago, today price matters. Just look at T Mobiles Q2 numbers.

Also, Verizon seems to be struggling with unlimited data affecting network speeds:

Lastly, don't use your phone in church! Shame on you! Its god's house!

@RTS - Just quit! No one is forcing you to stay at Verizon.

"Superior network"

Well, honestly when I hang out with my friends, it seems everyone else has one issue or another with their non-Verizon service that I don't seem to have with my Vz service. Sometimes I'm the only one who gets good service in certain buildings (like the church). Other times they are complaining about their crappy international options. And then of course there's the problem when you are out and about on vacation or just away from the metro area and I'm the only one with service.

I don't know, I see all the commercials and the grumbling but from my perspective, Verizon's superior service is worth something. That's my take.

Rks

I left this outfit on my own . You can too.

You don't have to put up with anything if you don't want. I waited around for a rif that would never come and said I am done with the stress of more and more work dumped on me with total BS deadlines. Walked right out. One of the best days of my life. So many people didn't like that I did but so what they didn't pay my bills .

Dear pee ons...I mean employees,

Your layoff is only to ensure future success of the business, bring value to shareholders and to keep my leadership teams millions in compensation and most importantly my outrageous salary intact. If you find yourself on the receiving end of that tap on the shoulder, know that your job sacrifice means great things for Verizon and most importantly myself. Your value as an employee is greatest when you get fired.

Sincerely,

Lowell McDumbass - CEO of the Telecom Titanic

would love to get laid off from this miserable company that makes us suffer a gruelsome, and slow torture each day. i used to love verizon, before you had to sell your soul and integrity just to meet their expectations. ship is sinking, let us off!

Nobody is safe ever. T-mobile just blew out the quarter had over 500k MORE net adds then analyst estimated...... VZ looks to be in trouble hanging hat on 'superior network'... Little to no difference anymore.

So if VZ post poorly on the 27th you can bet your butt layoffs are coming fast and furious

Just my opinion
