Advice from HR - Use all vacations and / or sick leave

In September during the restructuring, the company will take back all non used vacations and / or sick leave. This is an advice from a Sr. HR person.

No they can't take your vacation. However they can change the carry over period to say 1 week. Hopefully they would provide notice for the transition.

When I left I got paid 2 months worth for all my racked up vacation days so unless they change the carry over rules it's better to save the days if you think you may be impacted.
