I was one on the list and I am kinda sad about it and didn't even know it was coming

There were some lay-offs today at least in one region I know for sure.

This is truly maddening. just get it over with already. either let us go or don't, but stop making us crazy. Great company Humana is, stellar care for their employees!

I can not agree more with the previous poster. The emotional roller coaster of the past month has been a nightmare. At this point, I am praying to be on the list. I have been sending resume's out left and right for the last few months. I'm starting to get some bites from other companies. The sooner I get out of here, the better! Also, someone mentioned the possible timing: PHC's can log in at 9, 9:30, or 10 so I expect they would want to wait for everyone to log in before announcing anything, right?
My response to this has moved on - from worry to absolute disgust with this company. Where I once wondered, "am I on the list?" I have now moved on to, "please just let me be on the list so I can focus on my job hunt." This extended uncertainty is not healthy.
I believe the first round it was there when they logged on. The second round it came a little later in the morning. So who knows! They said that we would know within 30 days. That was 27 days ago. How much longer can they wait!
When do emails usually go out on doomsdays? Could it still happen later this morning or are we sure it isnt today? Urgh...
