Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Praying it's 8/24

So if they tell us Thursday and we are still graduating members ... wouldn't our 60 days notice give us plenty of time to make a fairly decent dent? Hmmmm

It will just be good to know either way. I am however, getting tired of the snotty comments that we are dumb to think this is the last of it. We all know our jobs are still not secure even if we make it through this time. It will all depend on enrollments in January.

The PHC and CHE roles may stay, but will be much smaller and will evolve into something else.

Rest of graduating members not reached are to be systematically closed on 9/29/17.

Agree with OP. I haven't seen anyone posting anything like, "looking forward to comfortable job security once this round is over!" I think we all just want to know what will happen this round, but nobody is delusional enough, after all 2017 has brought, to think this is it. Some of us bought the "no more in 2017" line, but that sort of trust is gone now.

This is the OP...I don't think anyone said this is the last round of layoffs... were not dumb... were just talking about this round ... not sure why you think others think this is the last round

I agree. I am trying to get my list done just in case they say you can be released when you finish your list. Lol!!

This confuses the heck out of me. So we are calling some members to graduate them, even though I'd say half these members were transferred to me and I've never contacted them directly, and I still have a big chunk of members in a Queue where they are being contacted by random PHCs. So there's little continuity or respect for rapport already.

The list isn't long enough to need a month to call everyone, even though we weren't told to prioritize those calls. But my team is worried that the Sept 13 deadline means something about how long we'll still have jobs.

I agree with other posters that the only reason they told us about the layoff, is because we wouldn't have been willing to disenroll all these members otherwise .

I would have preferred that they just told me I was laid off, and after I called all the people on my graduation list my time was my own. Instead of whatever this is because this doesn't make sense!

i definitely think there will be at least one or two more after AEP. IS there a date when all members are supposed to be graduated by?

You guys seem to think this is the last round of layoffs.

Why on earth would you think that?

Because management told you so?

Tee hee
