Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

PHC PIP

If you are a PHC and get laid off while on a PIP do you get severance? I am not on one but am thisclose to it and dont know if i should be worrying about that or not. My new roster seems to be full of hateful, angry mbrs who do not want to answer the phone. Anywho, your thoughts are appreciated!

"Having an off, bad week now seems reason enough to evoke these types of actions or threats coming from above the coaches."

This. ^

It has gotten ridiculous. You take a planned day off and that means you completed a day's fewer surveys than everyone else, so you are threatened with coaching now. It's awful.

This really is an anxiety provoking thought from OP. I know from having previous discussions with a coach friend of mine, she had always mentioned how leadership looked for patterns with not meeting metrics and decisions were based on that as far as how FC and PIP's were given. As of late, it seems all previous procedures have been thrown out the window and are now being replaced as they see fit. Having an off, bad week now seems reason enough to evoke these types of actions or threats coming from above the coaches. Not sure if this is a scare tactic as a final push to boost metrics, or some sort of formal documentation paper trail to deny someone severance...or both? I can't put anything savage past this organization at this point. Brick by brick, they've torn even the best, most loyal associates down.

If you are someone who has never had coaching or a PIP before, and all of a sudden, just before a layoff, you are being targeted, you may want legal advice.

Uggh, I feel you OP. I'm working with a relatively new roster as well after I was moved around and many of these members have been through multiple PHC's and are beyond sick of all the calls and endless surveys. So many utc's and hang ups. "Hi this is _ from Humana..." Click!

Makes the job so miserable. Now I'm supposed to be graduating members Ive never even reached before.
