Follett is a dysfunctional organization that doesn't have the right leadership talent needed for the challenges and opportunities that are there. If you have good technical skills you can find other opportunities out there. But don't wait too long, technology changes quickly and you could find yourself left behind.
But we got nice glossy financial 'going forward' reports mailed to our homes & another VP hired. Money would have been better spent on raises.
In the 50's and 60's there were stories about Japanese soldiers holed up in pacific island caves. They were unaware that WWII had ended 20 years earlier. Y'all are living in a retail cave.
