I worked for BBBY for more than 8 years and got out more than a year ago. New management team was hired to implement new initiatives more than 5 years ago. 5 years after, they have done nothing but screw the company by hiring more than 50 highly paid people that were not performing. Glad to see that executives have fired the person who was responsible for the hiring and the management team knows that their number is up and have been resigning. Sad to know that a lot of people lost their job this month. This might be a blessing for all of you who lost your jobs. Really good companies are hiring now. You got severance pay,uenemployment and will get ahead of finding a new job before the company sinks like the Titanic. BBBY was a really good company to work for. Hope they can recover quickly by getting rid of bad people before good, responsible and dedicated people jumps ship. Good luck everybody.

Things are not getting better, stocks have gone down again! All the stockholders are losing, all these managers that were or at least they thought they were getting rich, surprise, worthless.
Unfortunately while receiving my severance I cannot use unemployment here in NY State. From what I know now, they are moving district staff into stores positions. I know they made more than me....
