Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I have always wondered why Humana refuses to tell us how many are laid after each layoff.

Or how many they plan to lay off. I understand they leave a door open for changes if they don't give an exact count, but they could easily say between 250-300 PHCs for example. Or approximately 50% of the particular role. What does it do by keeping all numbers secret other than cause more distrust. We are all on the bus, however they painted the windows black, stole the tires and hired Satan to drive. I am here pounding on the window for air and daylight again.

I wondered that too, but feel it has to be all about the stock & the money. As said below if you are laying off then you are not doing well. If you are not doing well your stock drops.

Keep an eye on Louisville Insider as they have shared these numbers in the past.

Maybe they don't want media to get a number? Because it makes the company look shaky with all these layoffs? I remember reading about the first round in Cinci Enquirer and they had to say "unspecified number," because Humana wouldn't provide a number. They - the reporters- even used this site for info.
