Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Monday rumors

Phc here. So I have been hearing today from several sources that lay offs may be later this week. I know we are all just speculating at this point and going off of rumors, but has anyone else been hearing talk of this as well? Originally I was banking for later in the month, but wondering if that is wrong especially with there being a town hall scheduled.

This wasn't a matter of them trying to be transparent, they had to tell us something since we are disenrolling 100,000 members as they know we would of had questions!!!!!

Below poster, I agree. Even those of us trying our best to stay positive are getting fed up. We are human - it's bound to happen with such a prolonged state of severe job insecurity.

I haven't heard anything date wise about when they will notify those impacted, and I truly hope they don't drag this nonsense out until the end of this month. Not knowing is near torture. Overall I've remained positive and focused but now going into the third week, feelings of anger and resentment are creeping in. Maybe it's just me but I see nothing good about this effort to be transparent, and I highly doubt this is something associates asked for or what some meant when they asked for more transparency. In what way is this good for anyone? What benefit is there in knowing that anytime within a MONTH one may lose their job? For the love of all that is good and for everyone's sanity, wish they would let the cat outta the bag and move on!!!

I was part of a internal layoff with humana and transfered to phc role. My manager found out an hour before me about layoff, i think com knew 1-2 days before. Its was on a tuesday, so it coyld be any day. There is a hccp specific town hall thursday but if u look it was added 7/17, its not a new add. Snp had one today or tomorrow

Whatever happens we are on terribe ride together. We will know soon enough and I believe they may be feeling the pressure to drop the axe soon. I hope I don't offend anyone by saying I just wish it was done because this is becoming intolerable.

I think they are told the day of, but I have heard from others they have been told the day before so who knows! Maybe someone else knows how far in advance coaches are notified? I just want to know so I can stop my paranoia!

My coach doesn't seem to know anything and it looks like there's a town hall scheduled every month on that calendar. I would love to know when to expect this, so I could maybe have days where I don't feel nauseous and sick with dread, but I feel like we're grasping at straws.

How far in advance our managers notified? I thought last time it was the day of

My coach isn't even responding to work related questions on chat today. Not typical. Of course, it could just be a bad day for them and I'm reading into it.

Exactly no town hall invite but it's on the main calendar it's that meeting you get invited to after the impacts happen 💯 still staying with it will be this week.

I believe so just based on how quiet my manager has been.
