Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

DCG chop chop

Ask your favorite senior manager all about it. Actions beginning Q3. My amigos in GDC, the pendulum is going to swing the other way now. Switch to another group while you can.

Wait, DB was fired? Are you sure? I'm pretty sure she's on family leave and will be returning. I know someone who worked directly with her and I've heard she has every intention of coming back.

It seems plausible that Intel will close GDC. GDC is a laggard compared with other low cost geos. Low quality of technical talent. They are not capable of thinking for themselves. Seems to be a cultural problem.

DCG a in fine shape. NS will get the ship back on the right course and Intel will continue to dominate in the server space. Just make sure you meet your deliverables and everything will be just fine.

So is there any truth to these rumors?

Would Intel really close GDC ?

GDC work used to be done in Dupont, Chandler and Colorado, eh?

GDC? That is in Mexico. Maybe Trump asked BK to close GDC to make Intel great again.

The original post was removed because it used the complete names of NS and DB. The post was about a possible layoff in DCG. It seems that Kingths Mill has a very bad performance and there is no way it can beat Nvidia. Also Altera (PSG) is having a hard time against Xilinx. PGS revenue felt 7% YoY. Original post mentioned that the layoff is planed for mid August.
