I am really not sure for how long they can keep us waiting, and expect that our performances will not be affected. There is only so much a human being can take. Of course, by now I am pretty sure they don't consider us human. Kind of ironic, considering the company's name.

100 indicated that it will probably be next week that we are notified. That gives us an extra week to hit the job search hard while still on the payroll. My goal is 2-3 resumes sent out a day. I am hoping to find a job before severance runs out! A little extra cash in my pocket will help with having to commute again, purchasing more make up and buying work clothes again. My business wardrobe has been depleted over the past couple of years. Hoping to find a job with better health insurance to offset a potentially lower salary. Ironically, I pay way more and have a higher deductible than any of my friends outside of Humana.
I'm so sorry, poster. I feel the same way. This is so hard. I would rather be told news I don't want to hear than not know for an extended period of time.
I'm trying to adopt the "more time to job hunt is good" view that others have expressed here; it's great advice but it's tough not to be anxious.
