Today's president call

What is your take on today's call? How many more employees will be laid off in the next 45 days? When will they start looking more closely at the VPs, deans, and the IT along with the IRA departments? How many FPA staff do we really need? What will it take for the 'higher ups' to view the larger issues?

I consulted a lawyer about my situation and they said that because Arizona is a strict right to work state, I have no legal recourse if it does not fall into the Civil Rights Act regarding discrimination. The lawyer said that your manager has a right to make derogatory statements to you as long as it does not violate the Civil Rights Act.

There are plenty of companies hiring. The grass is truly greener... So glad I can don't have to worry everyday about losing my job. It's crazy to think that's a natural feeling at UOP. It has taken me a few months to decompress after leaving. Good luck hope things work out.

UOP is a Titanic reading to sink any moment. Time to jump ship while the going is good. I was terminated last Friday for poor performance for a job that I was cross trained to do to help out another department, while I received excellent reviews for 12 years of service doing my primary responsibility I was hired to do.
