How will this effect Humana matching the 401k? Is it matched on your anniversary date or at the end of the year?
I have only been with Humana one year and very early on, I sensed I had a lapse in judgement in joining this company.
I am concerned about my co-workers who are single, sick, caring for homebound loved ones. I hope they all land in good places.
As for me, I am trusting and hoping that my latter years will be greater than my former.💖
I appreciate this info in the postings because it confirms what I am sensing and also it helps me to see I'm not losing my mind by myself. I've been through lay offs before in my career, but nothing this tormenting. Yes I am being paid and I am grateful, but I don't like lying and cutting off people I worked hard to gain their trust. I say a prayer for them as I hang up telling them I'll speak with them in October. I really care for people. I know things in life happen like this but I really question the way this was handled. I believe EVERYONE has been affected. Sad situation all around. Please release me with pay and dignity. I AM REDEEMING MY TIME!

The new members will be from the layed off Phcs rosters
From my HCM RN friend: Notified yesterday the names of members to call due to "graduation" out of HCCP program. After those cases close at end of September, rosters fill up with new members to the telephonic program.
💯 Maybe they're doing 2 separate rounds? Bc my lead communicated today, it would be last week of month. Either way, good luck! ☺️

Do we know if any coaches or Coms had any input on who is let go?
Everyone is going to process and handle this in their own way, depending on their situations.
Id rather have another week of waiting then one less week of salary... Put it into perspective. Youre asking to be layed off sooner? Some of us arent in situations where we cant go look for other jobs or take other jobs... Sick, pregnant, caring for elderly or disabled parents.....so we are at mercy of decision of lay off. So the more time the better
If there is still no announcement next week I will probably have a nervous breakdown.
I feel like I'm lying when I tell my members they can call me if they need me, and that I'll be calling them again in 3 months. And then there's the 100 members I'm saying goodbye too.
Person saying last week of the month, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being not reliable 10 being no doubt, how confident are you that this information came from a reliable source?
I think they have just hired these new RNs to cover all the RN's leaving. We are not enrolling new members now so the program is not growing. If Humana does not have a very successful open enrollment for 2018 I believe we will see massive layoffs in Jan.
Poster that stated they 'know' that no HCM RN positions to be impacted. Finding it odd that so many quit- but they hired more. Why the big shift to monitored members that will go live in October? Once we are left with the bare minimum to call, one would think that will impact the whole dept as we know it. Do not trust what they lead you to believe!

I know that no HCM RN positions are going to be impacted. Recent hirings of HCM RN positions and many just finished their mentoring last week.
Lines up this month with many of us getting our kids ready to send back to school.... Guess we can look for work while they arent home.....

Indications I've been given as of today because things change hourly here! is that the impact will be next week. I am at this point staying with the 50% impacted as well. 💯
I don't think it's leadership waiting, I think it's (HR) needing to have paperwork, planning etc. completed. Good question, I wish we knew!

Can I ask what leadership is waiting for? It has been rumored that they have had the layoff list for a week or so. Are they waiting until we unenroll members or just plain torture? I'm not quite sure which is better, being blindsided or the very long anxiety ridden wait!

💯 is probably a higher pay level than myself lol-- it was communicated that it would be the end of the month, but my direct leader has been very quiet, so maybe 💯is right ;) Either way, god bless you all! Keep your head up high!

Wait 100 - should we be reading that as "very likely next week, I'll keep everyone posted?" (meaning layoff announcements would very likely be next week?) or did you mean there is a likely chance you'll update us next week?

Joe said WITHIN a month during our meeting. This Friday will be two weeks so to keep his word, it would be BY 8/26.
I'm actually thankful for the end of the month. More time getting paid while I search for a new job.
