Everyone in the leadership chain is a yes man.

The x86 monopoly and process singular focuse on CPU has bred a narrow and poisoned environment where the kind of innovative and bold thinking isn't rewarded or even tolerated. People who have new or different ideas are purged from the organization and released with yes man.

So it is t any surprise no acquisition, nor new initiative has ever succeed at intel.

Tipping point has passed and the slide is irreversible at this point.

I know, I got booted early for speaking out. Boss must have thought I was a threat. Guess what, everyone above me all the way up to the c suite got the boot eventually. Staying silent and drinking the kool-aid doesn't work any better.

@O7HttzL-1scv - This simply isn't going to happen without new, radically different leadership...

It's still very dangerous to not be a kool-aid drinker...

The very people at all levels in the cpu organizations that were willing to fight, claw, argue against the grain for architectural innovation seem to have been fired or departed over the past 4 years. Ditto for the organizations that would do the verification, validation, test and debug. The behavior you want is one where people speak their minds, take risks, yes make mistake and have honost blunt post mortems (renamed retrospectives because we can't handle the truth?). When the high level and highest level executives make people fearful of admitting a mistake or challenge a strategy or decision because they will be deomonized or fired then learning and progress will be compromised.

I still have hope for our great company. We all must look in the mirror and ask ourselves what am i doing to give voice to my doubts, admit and learn from my own mistakes, encourage and defend my colleagues who make mistakes rather than join the mindless voices just trying to enhance their position or security.

The good news is i dont think it takes that many brave souls to change the culture and make Intel great again. Oh, and stop reading, or at least believing the dont worry be happy lead the lambs to slaughter circuit articles. What a crock some of them are.
