There's a big difference (actually a couple):
1) BK does not have the trust or support of senior leaders, managers or rank and file, especially after ACT and the executive purges / Qualcomm replacements.
2) Success for Intel isn't just grind-it-out execution at this point. Better execution can't hurt but Intel needs to execute on the right strategy. And stick with it. Otherwise you're just whipping people to deliver on arbitrary, drop-dead deadlines...for projects that will be cancelled a couple of months later when the "strategy" changes again.
