14nm third and fourth generation die aren't shrinking and billions spent on stuff not generating revenue or profits. Then do the math on the wafer cost on 10nm, hmm what must the next ACT be 😉

Its normal business practice to give discounts once in a while - Toyota, amazon, nike do it all the time. The increase volume makes up for the per unit price. Economics 101.

Quite the opposite. The reason for price cuts is because Intel is making so much money that we don't know what to do with it. So we're giving it back to our customers. Even with the cuts, we'll still be flush with cash.
