It's been a year since the first wave of ACT exit-ees left Intel. Since then Intel's stock has lagged well behind its peers and the Nasdaq as a whole, 3 highly-touted IOT projects have been cancelled, mobile is dead, server growth rates are coming back to earth, and no post-x86 brass ring is within reach.
How is this being presented to the employees? It's been a year since I took ERP, so I still do remember some cringe-worthy cheerleading on Circuit. But I'm having a hard time imagining how executive management is applying the "all is well" lipstick to what very well could be a pig of a future. Can anyone still on the inside share what's being sold and how they are spinning it? And what is the official party line to the RIF rumors?
