Responsible for delivering training on Oracle methodologies or product/solutions to sales and sales consulting personnel. Ensures successful delivery of training engagements with a high level of satisfaction. Provides sales or Oracle domain expertise in one or more skills or solution areas. Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Development and other counterparts to facilitate training content development and delivery. Become the knowledge expert on areas of delivery.

Facilitate meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets by delivering quality training in classroom environments and or over the Web. Consult/work with Subject Matter Experts, Sales Performance Designers, etc., in order to deliver the material in an effective and engaging way. Provide analysis and feedback on training events to program teams or management regarding training results. Meet or exceed utilization expectations. Successfully manage the training environment while reporting and resolving issues. Act as subject-matter expert when called upon for curriculum development. Provide mentoring, certification of other instructors and related leadership tasks.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Recognized as a subject-matter expert within Oracle. Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and superior time-management skills. Ability to handle diverse groups of employees, including an international audience. Ability to establish credibility and create confidence quickly and easily. Excellent organization and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Maintain high student satisfaction scores on post-class surveys. Instructor certification in 3 or more different Oracle products/skill courses. Teaches in special situations such as custom courses for specific audiences (Oracle Direct versus Global Business Unit versus Alliances and Channels. Possesses broad industry knowledge. Business travel of up to 75 percent annually may be expected of this position. Typically at least 8 years of experience with 7 years of sales or sales consulting experience, 4 years of experience teaching at Oracle or another company. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

No its not to bring H1Bs. It is to continue their employment.

These are not un-fulfilled jobs but pre-filled jobs. i.e. Employees (M.S. grads on student visas were hired most likely on Optional practical Training that alllows them to work almost 3 years, then their H1B visas were processed (by now they are already 4-5 years on their job). Now the company advertises this job that was filled 4-5 years ago - they will collect a few resumes and then tell Labor Dept that they did everything they could but did not find a "qualified" local candidate.

This is H1B holdouts. It's their way of firing expensive US employees and hiring cheaper labor from overseas. They get a local replacement for you at a fraction of the cost and they own that person until they can apply for citizenship. Oracle is not the only company that does this, of course.

You people dont seem to realize that these postings are likely the "Fake Jobs (for someone else's Green Card". Fake Jobs is the commonly used term in the job seeker community. Basically companies that want to sponsor Green Cards for H1Bs have to advertize the jobs for a few months and submit to the Department of Labor that no local qualified candidate was found.

Basically the job was already filled a few years ago, the company is just fullfilling a Department of Labor Law that expects them to state that the company did everything it could to find a local candidate but did not find anyone.

Companies collect resumes and then use that as a proof to show that they tried to find someone but could not.

this is pretty bad. i am trying to find a way to remove oracle from my resume completely .... I don't want anything to do with this slime and i want the memory of oracle and the record of working for this slime erased from my career.... what a waste of time and energy of many years....

I was Riffed and now I am Ripped! Are you kidding me? 1000's and 1000's of Job Listings all over the f---ing place and who knows the 1000's of Terminations, Layoffs, etc. I actually really liked my job, really bought into Oracle and then they just send you walking? How does that make any f---ing sense at all?.... and what is it with this crap of being only paid through tomorrow and your benefits ending? Sicko Mother F---ers!!!

hahahahahaa gotta love it. either they purposely post jobs to give the perception of hiring, or they are actually hiring.

churn and burn is how this company runs their operation. I'm no communist, but for the amount of money this company receives and then squanders, you have to wonder if there's a more efficient way.

Not to mention all the lives ruined in the process.
