The lower stock price today is probably just the market reaction to the upcoming Lower 48 and Corporate Center Optimazation Project....

The ELT are all hat and no cattle! Time to terminate the ELT and BOD! Do not pass go & collect money on the way out! Fire with cause and no severance package!
When you don't reward performance and push favorites the day of reconing is sure to come.
2nd quarter ends next month. Wonder what the ELT will tell analysts. Fear that analysts may abandon COP one of these days. Stock will drop and shareholders ire will rise. Shareholders are getting tired of the never ending promises from the ELT on how COP will improve future performance. This company is a freak in the oil industry resulting from years of corporate inbreeding. Can't compete as an independent. Can't compete as an integrated major.
