The Elephant in the room: a s**t ton of members aren't going to get a graduation call by 5/26/17 because we can't fit it into our MOC. No one wants to actually address this or elevate it to leadership. Logistics FAIL.

Humana values money. ... that's it. Yes, it's a business.... yes it needs to stay afloat or we wouldn't have a job.... but the "values" they espouse, the mission statement are just fluff now. Throw the baby out with the bath water then, the government reimburses us to manage people and we do not...... we harass, UTC, force graduate....fail
The members were being called every three months. The issue is that there is a lot more nuance about whether a member will benefit from health coaching, and having time to properly work on our graduation list will help sort members instead of burning a bunch of bridges with members or neglecting sick folks. The issue is that leadership has set and unrealistic expectation and there is no way to communicate that feedback. If addressing graduation with members is best practice, I would like time to do it out of respect for all the members who took the time to work with me. Dropping members without a courtesy call is not consistent with our values. It bothers me that leadership can't take feedback and that we continue to neglect our values as an organization. I won't move on and will continue to vent about these issues until they are resolved.
Calling members every 2 months was not productive and there was no savings. Many of them won't even care if they don't get a call...or notice. Move on. ..
Ahhhhhhhh! This is why I hate this job. Anyone with a calculator can figure out that there is not enough time to make these graduation calls. But we report the problem to our coach, our coach takes it to the coms, and the coms put it back on us. Somehow the coaches are supposed to guide us into magical levels of productivity.
