Can someone share the exact date managers must hand in the division of bonus between their reportees (IPFs)?
I understand its around beginning of August or end of July. Is that true?

Are Cisco employees receiving end of year bonuses this year?
Highly unlikely, but only time will tell. Given that they announced in Q4 that the Q3 numbers were so bad, and the Q4 numbers didn't look good they had to increase the number of people being laid off from 5,500, to 6,600, what makes you think you deserve a bonus?
If the company had met it's goals, the numbers would have been good enough to keep that extra 1,100 people.
Personally, I hope you don't get your bonus this year. Back in '09, I was glad to give up my bonus because there was no lay-off that year and I thought it spared jobs. Now, CSCO is cutting expensive workers (those older or above the median for whatever reason) yet still handing out bonuses. Maybe if CSCO stops handing out bonuses to those who don't deserve it, the deadwood dragging down the company will leave and the company can be saved.
Nah, who am I fooling, this ship is sinking slowly and I'm glad I'm gone.
You can quit on August 1st to be eligible to receive a bonus.
My director did that one time and announced he had a job offer for a couple of months but delayed it so he could receive a bonus from Cisco. I presume he got a sign on bonus offer too from the new company.

Having a job in Cisco is a bonus
@1xaa: You serious? You quit tomorrow...no bonus. No prorating of bonus.
if somebody quits company now , how the bonus part will be calculated ?
Been a long time since one of two bonus cycles (for regular folk) completely disappeared. Was that 2009?
Considering the job market is a little bit stronger now than 2009.....means we say a ton of people jumping ship.
Kiss it goodbye. Except for the VPs.... they'll get their bonus.
Year End bonus - fat chance folks
The IPF range is not known until books close for the year ending July, so typically it's the third week of August.
