the talking heads on wall street always pitch a company when they know its tanking. its how they create buyer demand from s---ers for all the sellers who are unloading. this is not uncommon. history is instructive.
Funny thing is these experts are offering up O's cloud strategy as a smart way to get in on "the action" if they missed opportunities in amazon, Google, msft, etc.
wonder how much kickback they are getting or if the are pumping and dumping.
If oracle had told these talking heads that it was about to lay off 20,000 - 30,000 employees would these talking heads be excited about it or horrified ? As these people don't understand the business, I have to guess they would be delighted: fewer people = less cost, never mind that it also means less revenue and fewer new products. Shortsighted bastard!
Because these financial talking heads are so well informed? Miracles happen in fairy tales and that's about it. Sell/ quit - good riddance

You mean all in working out great for LE, MH, and SC and they would like nothing more than to continue to exploit others and be overcompensated for their utter incompetence? Keep dreaming, it's all crashing! SFDC, AWS, and MSFT are kicking oracle's sorry butt.
