Should we be looking for jobs? They are changing the home visit program, and increasing member movement out of the program. Does anyone have any information?

They keep promoting so much member movement I'm not sure how we would keep 25 to 30 on a caseload?
Same is true for me as an HCMRN.... I almost accepted a job for a third party contractor managing SNP patients, found out one of their contracts is Humana. Not clear on how much of their services they are farming out but obviously if other companies are doing it better.... It's because Humana is failing at administering it.
I agree remember in the last meeting withDR R at the end of the meeting they were talking about contract workers scored higher on a valuations than Humana employees. They also said contract workers made a large number of visits. Listen to the recording of the meeting it's at the very end . After she said that Dr. our interrupted and said that Humana valued all their employees and everyone did well . I can't remember the lady's name that was talking
Humana is currently hiring contractors as FCMs. I know because I applied for the job through a health care recruiter, not knowing they were representing Humana. Unfortunately, I think they are looking to cut costs by hiring contractors instead of employees.
Here we go again. Sounds like round three is coming in the next couple months.
LTIH is expensive for Humana so maybe they will take the FCM positions and make them telephonic since they are short in that area. Let's see what the change in MOC is going to be. I agree we need to looking for other jobs just in case.
If you are licensed SW or RN and able to consistently keep a full caseload, I think you're fairly safe. If you live in an area where you struggle to keep 25-30 caseload on a consistent basis, your chances of layoff are higher.
I haven't figured out how they plan to halt enrollment in the Stay Healthy program and graduate 18,000 members, slow HCCP enrollment and move out 3,000+ members to the Personal Nurse Program and now graduate LTIH members and still maintain the current workforce? Unless they are going to lower metrics for the members sake or increase wellness time for the associate sake, I think we may take another hit. And soon. You don't have to be good at math to be concerned about these numbers...
A lot of the LTIH members are going back to telephonic.
Have not heard anything about this.
I think this is a very unlikely scenario
