TSMC and Samsung seem to be doing well but Intel continues to fall behind!

One problem with your grand plan.
The CPU doesn't matter.
Single thread performance gains are done and we need to move to SOCs and specialized computing.
See the problem? Everyone is catching up on CPU thanks to fan parity and Intel has ZERO experience outside of CPU - hence the panic in the board room and the ridiculous 10-digit price tags on HIGHLY questionable acquisitions.
The leadership is pretty desperate. If you don't realize how much trouble this company is in, you haven't been paying attention.

@NZyUUbx-iqj What you propose is to rational and logical, can't expect that from Intel, beyond there DNA to rational admit when times have changed and adjust as required.

Take a deep breath and a big risk and create an unified Arm/X86 platform. Create the best CPU on the planet.
And begin with a culture change. Show the employees that they are not just a number. Tell the market that hard times are coming and the cow needs fresh food, or it won't give milk any more.
