Dell and Tucci are similar in many ways. Both do not invest in any genuine social causes as in charity like how the Melinda Gates foundation does. They are forced to do charirty through corporate social responsibility as they get government sops and exceptions in US and other countries. Both these fellas represent the evils of capitalism.
Tucci has made his millions. Pretty sad when he has no life other than to go to another firm. Why can't these people just retire and enjoy what little time they have left? He's 70 years old and has in excess of 100 million.. ? Life is short, why spend your last fwe years in a board room?
He hosed EMC and its stockholders.
Tucci will enhance the brand image of the firm. But he is an old man past his prime and made his fortune. He couldn't turn around EMC from its downward spiral even with his immense experience in MnA. Not much will come outta this oldie.
Genius! He is a smart guy, will help them grow to immense proportions.
