It seems that Intel is still being controlled by idiot accountants and lawyers instead of letting real engineers do what they do best (which is not try to explain tech to the non-tech board). This happens in waves but I fear this will be the last one as the lemmings run over the cliff. Strange that being one of the world's biggest and most successful companies is not enough to inoculate them from this kind of disaster. I guess the world be be even more into ARM (which Intel also abandoned). I'm glad I'm retired.

Yes. The bean counters run the show now. End to end. Deciding on products. Human Resources. Insane.
The board should be embarrassed. They own the failure of Intel. Shame.
