Thread regarding Follett layoffs

For those on this site-

Please stop your complaining since you will end up becoming what comes out of your mouth, which is constant negative attitudes. Your life is far too important to not enjoy each and every day. Here's something that was vital in turning my self around-- try going 30 days without saying a single negative thing and then negative thoughts will be replaced by positive ones.

Good luck my friend.

That's a good point. Some people just complain but don't want to upgrade skills, go to school, or even attempt to find a new job. There is a huge market for 40 and 50 year olds in the right fields aka skilled labor.

More BS. Channel your positive energy into finding a new job! follett is a terrible company for which to work. They get 0 effort and loyalty because that's what they've invested in the current work force. Take your best attributes and put them to work to benefit YOU. Find a new job. It's past time.

Follett is a horrible place to work. I worked there for 17 years.

Discussing the negatives is a service to all those that should be looking to get out.

So don't read this site if you don't want to read the negatives.

Get what you are saying but it's hard when your morale constantly keeps getting beat down. I'm staying and hoping for the best but I'm also not going to be surprised when I show up one day and the doors are closed. If you choose to stay you have to be realistic about the future of the industry in general.
