Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

DCG's big problem that nobody sees coming

ACT destroyed what was left of the server validation organization... DB could have done something to prevent it, but stood quietly by.... Now the MDO group has taken what is left and finishing it off at the alter of Lean/Agile/Scrum/ISO9000...

The full effect of the destruction of validation is not going to be felt for another year or two... feature fidelity and quality quickly fading away

@1qqp I came to the conclusion a few years ago that whenever you saw halfway decent senior folks at intel doing retarded things a promo was typically being dangled in front of them by management and would be announced soon when they delivered management's pet project.

PRTs will make heads roll eventually. I think Mf is too clever to take a hit. Someone else will go under the bus and follow the last dozen bosses out the door.

How many more PRTs will Steve Smith put up with before he has Mohsens head? How many more PRTs will customers accept? Maybe they will wait for the next release train... lol.
