Cisco is a horrible place to work. They insist on giving me a great work life balance, a challenging role, good share allocation every year, and have now forced me to finally pay off my mortgage via their ill gotten gain. And worst of all, they insist I go to Vegas each year, all expenses paid, for a sales meeting. I am so miserable!!!! Booo Cisco !!! :-(

Cisco is #11 best place to work? Wow, the companies after that must be really terrible? - or most likely the result is manipulated as somebody already suggested on here? Much like the unfavorable reviews on Glassdoor that suddenly vanish I would suspect. It's a pretty pathetic attempt to increase the attractiveness of the company profile if that is actually the case. I think the recurring layoffs alone would have been enough of a clue before one even mentions the toxic work environment, the politics, the layers of bureaucracy and the inept leadership that must rely on annual mass culling to appease the shareholders and pad their own bonuses while they attempt to buy success via takeovers before typically running those promising companies into the ground. That's just my opinion of course.

Forget me, WTF are you doing on here if you love your job. You should be working.

If you don't believe Cisco is a good place to work why are you still working here? Personally I get good pay, I have the best work / life balance I have ever had, the job is pretty interesting and I get all the benefits I expect. Sure we get freaked out at LR time but all tech companies are the same.

Personally I would be surprised if we were not up the BPTW list somewhere. Your "greased" comment really doesn't make sense. I doubt Cisco cares that much about it.

Hmm.. an "independent" organization. I'm sure they don't get greased under the table.

You know something is wrong with the rankings when companies like Uber rank #5. Amazon has had workplace related issues in the news as well.

Don't forget companies do whatever they can to get ranked high on these lists so they can attract employees.

You sad cry babies do make me laugh. Its voted for by the staff and an independent organization reviews the company metrics and data.

OK, we know you don't like Cisco. We know you are either too cr*p at your job to go anywhere else or a just too apathetic.

Please do however keep writing your comments on this site because the rest of us who actually enjoy the benefits of working at Cisco (you know...good salary, remote working, the company benefits etc.) find your pathetic whinging quite funny.

Desperate attempt to get people joining. They have had issues recruiting in the UK as people are becoming wise to the annual sackings and lack of growth.

Farcical. It was named Best Company to work for in Ireland too this year but none of the staff here were asked to complete any surveys! Complete joke.

How much was Linkedin paid for these rankings?

Uber #4: 75% of ELT fired for s-xual harassment

Amazon #2: Employees jumping out of buildings

I wonder what the criteria was?

Has Cisco's ratings dropped in the RTP rankings? In the Fortune 100?
