Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Mark my words

Within 1 year HPE will go private and be bought by a private equity firm or sold to a Chinese company like Lenovo.

@NC6Vx33-7iwo,

Amen to your posting about Herd (mis-spelt deliberately)

This company is only worth any patents that are blocking a company's product line

OP I think you make a lot of sense. It would help explain why the focus has been on dicing the company up into pieces, instead of focusing on any new initiatives.

Before working at HPE, I worked for a publicly traded software company that went private.

They would buy the company for pennies on the dollar by a private equity firm.

Samsung is much more likely to acquire HPE.

Why would anyone want to buy the company? Even the IP is not worth it. It is a dinosaur.

Maybe if the share price falls to penny stock levels. Can't see any other way. I'm sure meg has shopped it around no one has bit yet.
