Hopkinton

People that I know in Hopkinton mentioned that there won't be any more cuts, also there are 100's of openings in MA.

There were cuts in Hopkinton today, so I wouldn't listen to the people that you know.

Of course anyone at EMC with a self-preservation instinct is going to work on their professional network. You'd be self-destructive, not to. Of course, it's helpful if you keep your network fresh even while you have a job, but those who thought they were set for life, didn't seem to think there was a need.

Now they're finding out otherwise.

If that is the case why suddenly I am receiving numerous linkedin connection requests from EMC employees with which I have not talked for years.. I left EMC several years ago.
