Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

some hope out there that things are getting better. Yet liquid business is just hoping for it. Calgary office starting to post some positions. It all comes now to cherry picking of candidates. They pick someone they know, they go for a coffee and chat. After all, the person whom they know, gets it.

You sit in your office and wait for the next layoff. Naturally, all you have to do is rely on yourself. You have to be strong in what you do. Coffee chat..... or golf chat... or dinner chat. I guess it's part of life. They call it networking. You have to be good at it too. But wait... who will do the work then? Or wait.... leaders can go for a coffee or golf or dinner. You do the work... and wait to be laid off?

At this point I would love to get a layoff + package...

Collaboration? Good luck. If they're not throwing someone under the bus they're s---ing d***. As if that adds value.

Just take it easy, go get fresh air. the reality is that whatever happens, it is a good thing for you. Enjoy life and simply go to work as to place that pays you money for the time you spend there and for grief you get. The rest should come by itself. Health is wealth.
