When I took my job at Follett, I read the glowing reviews on Glassdoor.com and it seemed like a good place to work. Yes the industry was going down, but as the regional who interviewed me said, kids will always buy from the student bookstore. Unfortunately I now know there is no future for a company that treats its employees so poorly. The store employees touch all of our customers....it is no wonder that sales continue to decline. All while the ivory tower adds more vp's.

HR or recruiting continue to post fake reviews to counterbalance the real reviews, on Glassdoor. The sheer number of reviews is stunning. If any candidate looks at the number of reviews and thought critically about why would there be so many reviews at this little company, they'd never return the recruiter's call.
Unfortunately it is so much cheaper to rent the books from Amazon or Chegg!!
