Thread regarding Follett layoffs

How many Vice Presidents does it take to steer a sinking ship!!

Does anybody remember the scene in Wall Street were Gordon Gecko gets up at a stockholders meeting and talks smack to the 46 VP's that worked at Teldar Paper. He says something about 46 VP's each making at least $250k a year and they spend all their time sending paper back and forth and for the life of him he can't figure out what the f--- they all do. Remind you of a certain Westchester headquartered company. I know it's fictional but watch the movie it's rather telling if you pay attention.

They keep hiring VP's and the sales keep going down. At what point do VP's and above become accountability for the top line results.

So I heard Sears released "guidance" today that they would most likely not be in business much longer. With so many former Sears folks in the organizational hierarchy, don't you feel good about the solid leadership? The blueprint is there. Watch it unfold.

So curious what ratio of all vp's to regular folks is? Who owns who? Grooming a B&T person to take over Follett? And, there goes any hope of a bonus to pay these additional salaries.
