Thread regarding Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. layoffs

Working at Kolkata location

I have very bad experience at Kolkata location.

I am not Bengali and Bengali plays very dirty politics.

After working very hard for 1 year 8 months (I JOINED CTS IN FEB) I got my first rating that too EM.my project was in critical stage and that was about to ramp down before rating my supervisor assured me that I will get EA . I need not to think for rating just work.

After this promise they have given me 2nd bucket and they gave 1st bucket to a Bengali guy. Even after complaining to hr no action as HR will not listen to you she will listen to senior management. No bone of HR.

Kolkata is the worst location for CTS

you have no idea what a EM rating is . Grow up Kid and get mature first. Also please start working in other location like Chennai or Hyderabad before comparing Kolkata for regionalism . Kolkata is the most tolerant and cosmopolitan city across nation and truly provides a diversified work culture. - Comment from a present employee of Cognizant who is working for 14 years and have worked in all locations of Cognizant

Pathetic post. The post shows lack of maturity and professionalism of the person posted. There are so many factors considered for appraisal and more importantly EM is a good rating.these posts are to be ignored .
