Chatter in the hallways is some of us will get the DXC "welcome package" the first week of DXC. What are other areas of AMS hearing?

I am one of major contributor to current running project... My manager today me dxc will be removing all the contract employee in ams region.... And there are very dim chances of extension.....
Hearing cuts will ramp up again starting at the end of April all the way through end of August...
Is this comment for legacy EDS/HPE ES folks that currently have little project work, or are you also referring to people currently doing work as HPE IT resources? We (HPE IT) have heard little about layoffs with exception to a level (or 2) of management. (which makes perfect sense)
"Some" is quite optimistic. Rumblings here indicate "most".
