You’re all being too hard on poor turdie, he has a different understanding of what words mean than you, that’s all. Layoff is such a brutal word, it would upset his gentle soul. He merely things of it as giving less well endowed and privileged members of the global society new and exciting opportunities. That’s all. And yes, somebody has to pay for creating these new opportunities, and that somebody would be privileged western oracle employees. Now doesn’t that sound better! Lol!

It's moving headcount. Skilled and expensive employees are going to be replaced by engineers in low cost countries. As the headcount itself stays stable and no headcount reduction, it's not a mass lay-off... even though thousands gets laid off

It's not layoffs. They're more like trade-ins. Trading in an older more expensive car for cheaper cars with no brakes or steering wheels.
