He merely things of it as giving less well endowed and privileged members of the global society new and exciting opportunities. That’s all. It's moving headcount. Skilled and expensive employees are going to be replaced by engineers in low cost countries. As the headcount itself stays stable and no headcount reduction, it's not a mass lay-off... even though thousands gets laid off
