If a certain someone makes it through this round of cuts, I am truly going to question leadership. When people are voluntarily jumping ship in this economy, a red flag ought to be raised.

My friend worked for them in Fort Mac and was laid off. According to her the Director there is corrupt and has zero people skills. The only reason he has that job is his heritage she says. He lays off anyone that challenges him
My Husband got a Text , not a call a freakin text telling him he was laid off . This was on March 19 2017 , Heartless, Cowards !!!!
What do you think will happen to Spectra people? Are they going to look at a merit/performance based reductions? Are they going let BY make the call? Or it is going to be standard Enbridge layoff based on the previous layoff criteria? Just curious.
Do you really think that management has any idea what everyone does within the company, they don't even know what their reports do. They have hired a management team that will be looking at a couple of things, how many digits in your employee number and how much money can they save by cutting the position or department. The outside company needs to prove that they are an adding value to the company if they said everything was good then they would never get another job. This reduction was not and has never been about making the company better if that was the case then the dead wood within the SMT like AM, SL, LG, DL, DB and KD would have been gone a long time ago.
Next round should be mid level management around the Director level. Lot's of duplication of Enbridge and Spectra management that needs to be consolidated.
Haha. You actually think they just retain the best and brightest? Give your head a shake. If it were that easy, BOEF would've been completed and implemented a year ago. I'll guarantee you the company keeps more than a few losers around because they are the right level, in the right position or tight with some bonehead Sr. Leader who has the power to keep them around. Agreed! If the dead weight is still around it proves the company only cares about the good old boys club verses talent.
