Managers Layed Off

Bunch of managers just got word that their jobs would be cut in June as part of the ongoing cuts to departments.

Great way to get people to jump ship...start a rumor or make an announcement. Smart ones will start looking for jobs. Naive ones will sit there until they are fired or best case offered a severance package (doubt it). I have seen this in buyouts;the remaining employees may have to reapply for job positions at lower salaries or be gone. They used all those 'managers' to do their dirty work and now it's their turn to see how it feels to sweat it. They should put out a suggestion box for recommendations.

It's not a lie. I can confirm. Full time fac are going, too, but they don't know it yet. They think they are safe.

Judging by the grade 4 spelling mistake, "layed" I'd say that university needs to lay off many, many more people.

It's "laid off" not "layed off"

One would hope a university employee of any sort would know this. Guess not.
