200 I and R techs across the mid west was "lowered" to around 130.

Call is at 10 or 1030 est. Surplus hitting tfs and hicap in midwest. Hearing large numbers but unconfirmed totals. Smaller numbers in hicap obviously.
The call was rescheduled but the cats out the bag 127 techs to be surplus in illinois and northern indi god help us all
My I&R buddy said that 200 of them will be layed off in the Midwest and have the option of taking U-verse jobs with same pay for six months, then drop to uverse tech pay.
