Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

start preparing

piece of advice that may benefit you....top up your credit cards and limit maybe a line of credit to make room. make sure you can budget to not be able to find work for 12 to 18 months 24 months is idea. do a financial cost assessment to ensure you can survive. cut back on all the costs you can. if you are laid off you won't know how long it will be too find a job so be prepared just in case. I know it sounds crazy to rack up debt. but it's better then loosing your house or not having food. a number of people found work in the last couple of layoffs within a few months whereas others took 9 to 12 months. Regardless of what's happening right now I can tell you there is life after enbridge. it's been a wonderful thing. I now actually know what it means to be home for dinner , have extra curricular activities, have people not take credit for my work and really WORK to LIVE (just like mR W always said) and I am loving it. AM is the worse thing to happen to this company. we all knew it when he was named and it will never be the same again. people say it's just business it's about the numbers....but they forgot how that company was built... off of good honest hard working people. not the cut throat, lack integrity, kiss a-- to the influencers that do nothing and sell people under the bus that is happening now. when you see good people leaving and wanting packages you know it's a bad sign...
