Agreed! Also, Customer service/ CPS is not a valued organization. It's no longer about the Customer experience, it's all about Cisco... if Cisco cared about its customers they would do the right thing by having exceptional support, instead of everything off shore and no point of contact for companies spending money on their equipment. Going Down hill and fast
I was also let go. Grade 6 and 1 1/2 years as a blue badge, so it's not just the higher grades being let go.
206 people were laid in CPS RO - Regional Ops. I was one of them. Been with Cisco for over 19 years. Grade 12. To them, I'm just another expensive line on the payroll, at this point. And I agree, they do not value long term dedicate employees anymore.
I'm in CPS as above- LR-ed and more to come. Getting rid of the dept., eventually it will be gone- 1 - 2 more years all off shore.
Customer service- customer parter services- aka operations was impacted march 9th 2017. 25 plus people gone and will continue every quarter. Most impacted were 10 years employment and longer..., college hires and outsourcing is the future for Customer service/ operations. All badged future jobs will be in rtp - North Carolina - case of age discrimination -company does not value long term dedicated employees.
