So glad I left the dumpster fire known as Follett. I wish I could give those in the abusive relationship with Follett a day in my new job to show them there is a better way elsewhere. Follett does not care about you, you are a number to them. A small token but it means a lot when my new boss walks in and says "what do you think of this" or "how was your weekend".
Poor financial results...anyone expected anything different?
Did you see the numbers from Feb? The hits keep right on coming. The attrition will continue along with layoffs to keep the bottom line propped up.
People are jumping ship in the field & WB. Many see the writing on the wall, many fed up.
we thought we bought them- That is one of more insightful comments I've read in some time. follett and its employees tend to think they're exceptional. Why a person would continue to work for this company is a bold statement of exceptionalism.
It could be there was a merger. It is also possible that the terms of the merger didn't favor follett. Your company may have been quietly bought. If you're exceptional, you can look at this as a ray of hope. You better know who you need to align with, however.
There are no names listed and b&t are running the show now... Pretty soon we won't work for follett will work for them. Thought we bought them not the other way around..
