There are plenty of workers, in the US, who will do your job for less. H1b or Conway, AK, the issue has become- does management see my job as an expense? Does my cost outstrip the benefit? More specifically, will some EVP hire a consultant to write a report saying my job can be outsourced with similar outcomes and lower costs. At that point, you're toast. It doesn't matter if your job is taken by an H1b worker or a new college grad from Arizona State.

Yes, I just got off the phone with Mr. Trump this morning and he promised me that he will be making America great again and is eliminating all work visas, including H1B.
