So now they aren’t moving to monitored?

SNP is really under an enormous amount of pressure. HCCP was so focused on moving members to monitored and then a 4 PM email this week put the brakes on moving members. No more Grad Surveys on those that could have moved to monitored. Such an about face with little or no explanation. Something is rotten at Humana. We all need help!

At the meeting it was mentioned that we should strive to have our roster up to date so the coverage team isn't inundated with red alerts. Impossible when they add that many people to our rosters. New members take an extra amount of time. Again, quantity not quality! In another layoff discussion someone suggested not to do anymore than to meet metrics. The more we do, the more they expect.

SNP RNs were told roster size will now be up to 450. Most of us had about a 180 member increase on Monday already. These are special needs members with chronic conditions who are anything but a simple call and careplan. Lots of education, teaching, surveys and now with the loss of the SS referral, community resource research and follow up. I would not let my dead dog sign up for a Humana insurance plan.

What was the roster increased to? Mine wasn't increased at all.

The huge increase in roster size on Monday should have made me cry but I instead just laughed at how absurd this job has become. Increasing the LOI may decrease the frequency of some calls but with that many members, we will be chasing after the TOCs and PDCs instead of following up on the OD MOCs and UTCs. If someone doesn't answer, they'll be lucky if they get a call again before next year as they will be buried under all these alerts.

How much pressure can they pile on us before we break? I think they want us to resign!

I would welcome a layoff with a separation package. So many long hours plus all the stress to meet metrics has taken a toll on me and my health. I remember interviewing for the WAH position. It was a dream job to begin with. How things have changed!

Administrative support adjustment means layoffs...trying to get the cost per patient lower means layoffs

The conditions certainly are not like they were 4 years ago

The associate call talked a lot about getting our clinical pillars fewer but stronger. What does that mean for non clinical staff?

That associate call with MC didn't make me feel very secure here, that's certain. A whole lot of saying how bad things are and you people are responsible for improving your numbers or you're out.

I do. I don't believe anything they say. I have found another job. And even if they don't the working conditions are unbearable.
