If you search for PLI bonus on the internal website you'll see that as stated by @ below the mid-year bonus is paid out to G12 and below unless the employee was not employed in the right time frames during the 1H or on an improvement plan. If the company is on target then you get 50% of your bonus with a PF of 1.0. If not, it is the discretion of the CEO/CFO to pay a smaller portion

I received my bonus today (US) without ever receiving a webletter so if you are in locations that are paid later I would not take it as a sign that you aren't getting your bonus.

"Management" now has the power to decide if someone gets a mid year pay out so it is not automatically paid, no doubt the People Deal effect.

Rubbish. There's a couple of times in the last ten years where they paid NO mid-year bonus.

Remember, this is NOT performance based. It's an advance (25%) on the full-year bonus with all performance factors = 1.0.

Mid-Year bonus was the worst I have ever received in 10 years of service. Money is all flowing to upper-management only- cisco does not care about the Individual Contributors!

Actually it's 13 and above that don't get the mid year advance.

There are no mid year promotions... only some RSU's for the normal folks and very select individual contributors who are designated "High Potential"

Well, bright spark - if you had half the "performance" you think you have, you should realise that the mid-year bonus has NO PERFORMANCE FACTORS. It's purely pro-rated to your 100% level expected bonus (I won't use the HR terms, since they are obviously beyond you). Obviously, you have a 15% bonus on your package, so not surprising that's what it was equivalent to.
