Hard Workers Need Not Apply

If you're a hard worker who takes pride in your work, this company is not for you. Management seems to promote their friends to higher positions rather than the people who are more qualified and get the job done.

As other posts have stated, this company lacks innovation and vision - I also believe the company lacks ethics as well. Good luck trying to talk to HR about anything because they will being it up to your manager and your manager will likely retaliate and try to make your job miserable.

If you love playing the corporate game and lying and kissing the right behinds to get ahead, then this company is for you. If you take pride in your work and like to work hard every day, keep looking for a company which actually cares for their employees and would value your contributions.

I completely agree. They harassed me at work as the sectional head was a horrible woman who undermined her subordinate who happened to be my line manager. This put me right in the middle of horrible office politics which I did not want be a part of. It was like my line manager would ask me to do one thing and the sectional head would ask just the opposite and I didnt know what to do. So I raised it with regional HR person who just swept every thing under the carpet as he didnt have the guts to stand tall and address the issue like a man. Instead he kept kissing sectional heads back side and covering up. They tried so many way to accuse me of so many things to get rid of me but yet went on appraising me for the fantastic work I dis but if I was 1 min late they would send me a warning letter. I finally decided to leave this horrible place but I did write to the Group CEO/ Group HR person which was a waste of my time as they swept it under the carpet as well. That place is only good if you are willing to kiss up to your boss and get treated worse than a dog., However staff who are the blue eyed boys and girls who only did nothing but kiss their manager's back side would get promoted. worse place ever.

exactly that's what happened to me after 8 years with the company that will be there down fall eventually then i'm going to the empty parking lot put on some music radio and do some dancing then laugh all the way home as they went of business ha ha ha
