Thread regarding Follett layoffs

A sad day!

I find it humorous that the executive suite has not been touched during all of this turmoil. There are several VP positions that can and need to be combined. You want savings...there it is. The redundancy is extremely wasteful.

So how the leaders of this company can sleep at night is beyond me. The us vs. them culture is crippling any hope for the further of this company. We need a different approach, which means we need different leaders. Leaders that know our future lays beyond the outdated business models that we have in place. True success only comes when creating or changing an industry.

They need to go hourly & be treated like the associates in the field. Oh yea, have their hourly rate cut because they can make it up in overtime every so often. Would to see them pay their bills on that.

Despite the new leadership and many more VP's and up, the strategy at Follett is the same that it was for the past 5 years.
