L48 is slowly but surely stealing the souls of the good folks we have left. It appears drinking the koolaid or quitting are the only options. Speaking up or trying to fix things is a punishable offense but you'll be rewarded with a top rating if you get in line and sell the story. Do I really have to go back to this place tomorrow? I know there are a few sensible, hardworking folks left but the majority I know have quit. Will I soon be the only left that gives a s*** and wants to add value for the company in exchange for my paycheck?

can a good employee be reborn outside the L48 or will they be undead soul-less zombies forever?!? I sure hope L48 hasn't ruined us all....
Eh, just keep drinking and reselling the Kool-Aide. You'll get promoted into the management, where you'll be a fine addition, since most of the others don't actually have a clue about what goes on below them where the real work is done.
No I too was a bright eyed positive ray of sunshine when I got here. People and environment put me in my place quick! I just want my severance is that too much to ask for? I will be fine after COP and I dont even have a degree and know life will be fine but I want my severance I earned it and am not leaving without it!
I've worked in one of the L48 BU's or another my whole time at CoP. I have a decent technical degree and used to do actual technical work, even real science at times. The last year have been ballot after ballot from other operators all day every day. I just push papers. My manager doesn't really understand what a person from my technical background does, as he's an engineer. I'm suffocating here and have started to look around for something more interesting in other Houston teams. If I can't find something then I'll look outside.
