Hoping they don't cut all of the RSS.. but does anyone have an idea if they will open up the SS positions to let some stay in a sales roles? That is some serious headcount loss... I would think they would offer to let these people in sales if their managers see they could do it. I hope someone knows some facts on this... anyone? Good luck out there.

My source says no more RSS after Thursday. With the transition to wsap complete they don't see the need for the position anymore. Basically if you don't directly bring money into the company you are on the cutting block.
Let's be honest.. This is all speculation. There hasn't been any concrete answers yet. The rumor of SMs being cut is because ATT did that at the beginning of the year and so therefore that's what we "must do." GMs won't know until Wednesday, and the rest on Thursday or Friday.
From what I've heard no RSS spots. They aren't opening spots for these people. If there is already open headcount then that's always an option, but just as before you would have to apply. They are looking to cut jobs not change titles
